    Therapeutic Benefits

Niaouli contains the infection-fighting properties of both Tea Tree and Eucalyptus. Chemically, it is more similar to Eucalyptus but much milder, since its 1.8 cineol content is significantly lower. It can be used freely on the skin (diluted of course) as a muscle rub, an insect repellent, an acne treatment and even a douche.

Although Niaouli is a melaleuca species, the fresh, camphorous scent of Niaouli is more reminiscent of Eucalyptus, but with a little smooth and sweet hint of cardamom. Its aroma is more pleasantly mellow than other related essential oils, which makes Niaouli a great companion for someone with allergies who wants to use direct inhalation.
