  • Chamomile Moroccan Blue Essential Oil: This is a lovely oil, with a sweet pleasant tone. It's the nicest smelling among all blue oils. It is said to have powerful antihistamine effects to knock out hay fever and allergies. Its anti-inflammatory effects are excellent for calming down skin hives triggered by allergies.

    This oil is commonly called Moroccan Blue Chamomile, but botanically it is a tansy, not a chamomile.

    One of the components of Moroccan Blue Chamomile, Chamazulene, makes it powerfully anti-inflammatory.

    How To Use

    For use on the skin (Topical Application), dilute up to 3% in jojoba or hazelnut oil. For acute asthma attacks, you may use 4-5% dilution.

    Acute Asthma attacks: Massage, on chest and back, diluted to 5%-10%, in jojoba or hazelnut oil.
    Skin Abrasions or Inflammation: Skin Rinse. Add a few drops to a sink full of water and use this water to cleanse skin.
    Hay Fever and Allergies: Diffusion.
    Anger, Stress, Anxiety: Diffusion, Topical Application on heart and chest area, or Aromatic Bath.
    Menstrual Pain: Topical Application on affected areas.
    Muscle Cramps, and Musculoskeletal System issues: Topical Application on affected areas.
    Radiation Burns, Psoriasis and Eczema, Skin Irritation and Itching: Topical Application on affected areas.
    Rashes, Boils, Chicken Pox, Dermatitis: Topical Application.

    Safety Precautions:

    Moroccan Blue Chamomile appears to be one of the mildest oils available in aromatherapy for many applications.  However, it contains ketones, which are neurotoxins. Use only in small quantities, and never with children or during pregnancy.  It has caused contact dermatitis in a small number of individuals. If using with very sensitive skin, try it properly diluted on a small spot first.
