Apricot Kernel oil is obtained from the dried kernel of the apricot. Apricot kernel oil is a clear, yellow liquid and is considered to be a good lightweight base oil, known to be rich in vitamins A and E.
It is a nourishing carrier oil that softens and heals, easily absorbed by the skin. It's especially effective on aging and skin that requires nourishment. Recommended for facials due to its healing and soothing properties and works very well on sensitive skin types.
Apricot kernel oil can be massaged in at 100% strength but normally it is used in a 10%-50% dilution.
