    Therapeutic Benefits

Rosewood essential oil comes from a tree that grows in the Amazon forest and has a sweet woody scent, reminiscent of rose. Rosewood has sadly become an endangered species, so make sure you buy the oil from a reputable source. Amrita has made a careful selection and sources the essential oil from a sustainable company in Peru. The harvests the essential oil in a way that does not harm the tree and gives back to the local community.

Rosewood is an uplifting oil. Its sweet scent instills confidence, soothes the mind and is an all around wonderful oil to have on hand for stressful situations. Its natural antiseptic and antibacterial properties make it a lovely skin care oil. Used for wrinkles, acne, oily skin, burns and infections, rosewood soothes and regenerates the skin cells, without being to harsh on the skin.
