What are We Thankful for?

Thanksgiving is a good time to reflect back on the year and think about what we are grateful for. Here at Amrita, our list of gratitude and appreciation is a long one:
- Farmers: They toil out in the hot sun planting, weeding, and later gently harvesting the leaves, twigs, bark, roots, seeds, flowers and fruits that are used to make the Essential Oils we sell. Please see some of the photos on this page that show them hard at work.
- Distillers: Sometimes this is done by the farmers themselves, by a collective of farmers, or by processing plants. They gently extract the volatile oil, thereby creating one of the most precious gifts the earth has to offer. Essential Oils are said to be the concentrated intelligence of the healing force within a plant, and it is reported to be far more powerful than dried herbs. Depending on the type of Essential Oil, it can be cold pressed, steam-distilled, or extracted using volatile solvents. Please see some of the photos of this work on this page.*
Amrita’s staff: The loyal crew who receives the big barrels of oils, tests the oils using our Gas Chromatograph, pours the oils into bottles, carefully packages the oils to ship to you and who take your calls.
- Our founder: With the guidance of our founder Dr. Christoph Streicher and his many years of experience as a master aromatherapist, we are able to create aromatherapy products that have the greatest therapeutic effects.
- Component makers: These are the people that make the beautiful bottles that help to preserve the full, therapeutic value of the Essential Oils we sell.
- Transporters: These are the people that drive the trucks, sail the boats and fly the planes that allow us to bring you Essential Oils and components from all around the world.
Programmers: This year, we have had a team of programmers help make our website faster, more mobile friendly, and easier to filter using the category pages.
- Our wonderful clients: We appreciate all your kind words, the reviews you give our products on the website, and the support you give us in spreading the word about our company.
From everyone at Amrita Aromatherapy we wish you a joyful gathering with those you love the most!
