Which essential oils are effective for sore muscles and muscle tension?
The following essential oil products traditionally have been used for sore muscles and to relieve muscle tension:
Sweet Marjoram – Dilute it up to 5% in jojoba or hazelnut oil (25 drops per tablespoon) and apply to affected areas. To use it for a whole body massage, dilute it up to 2% (10 drops per tablespoon). You can also dilute it and use it in a bath.
