Rice Bran Carrier Oil, is derived from the “Bran” layer of a grain of rice. Bran is hard, brown, and high in oil content. It has a wonderful affinity with skin and because of this works to soften, soothe and moisturize. It increases the skin's natural regeneration process and makes a good addition to any preparation that targets premature aging.

Traditional Uses and Lore:

According to Chinese legend, Shennong, the emperor of China and the inventor of Chinese agriculture, has been accredited with the domestication of this wild rice.

Rice belongs to the family of grasses and is the oldest cultivated plant in the world.

Botanical Name:  Oryza Sativa 

Method of Extraction: This oil is cold-pressed extracted from the outer layer of rice called 'chaff'. After the extraction process, the resulting oil goes through refining, non-chemical bleaching, deodorization, and a winterization process.

How to use it

Topical Application (for use on the skin):

    • Rice Bran can be applied directly to the face or the body neat oil or diluted in a carrier oil such as sweet almond or grapeseed oil.
