If you're new to Essential Oils, it doesn’t take long to start building a collection once you begin exploring their benefits. Many people find themselves gradually adding products like Essential Oils, Roll-Ons, Perfumes, and Synergy Blends to their routine.
You might start with a few essentials and eventually include items such as Bergamot, Jasmine, or Vetiver Perfumes; Roll-Ons for Hormonal Balance, Rest, or Muscle Tension; and Tri-Essence Power Blends for support with Allergies, Digestion, or Cardiovascular Health. Natural Deodorants, Diffusers, and Carrier Oils like Unscented Body Oil or Clear Jojoba Oil are also helpful for diluting and applying Essential Oils to the skin.
Some choose facial care products like Chamomile or Myrrh Facial Cream or Regenerating Facial Serum as part of their skincare routine. Over time, it's easy to discover more products that suit your wellness goals and personal care preferences.
If you need help organizing all of your various Essential Oil products:
- Put them on the shelves in your medicine cabinet (or use a display stand).
- Organize them into categories.
- Within each category you can organize each item alphabetically.
- For the Essential Oils, add a label to each to remind yourself why you bought it (e.g. on Oregano, you can put “Fungal nail & psoriasis”).
- If needed, research how to use the product. For example, how many drops do you add per tablespoon of carrier oil? To find this out, search for the oil and look at the How To Use section. Each Essential Oil has a different rate of dilution recommended, so it is important to know the rate before diluting the oil.
- Create an already diluted version of each Essential Oil you are currently using in a separate bottle. For example, you can use a small, plastic funnel and put a tablespoon of Amrita’s unscented body oil and 25 drops of Oregano in one of these and write “Oregano - fungal nail” on it.
- For the oils that you want to diffuse, put a diffuser pad into a sealed plastic bag with the name of the oil and why you are diffusing it (e.g. “Pink Grapefruit - Uplifting”). This will stop you from using the same diffuser pad for different oils, which isn’t ideal.
Even though getting organized can be a large task, remember what the King said in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, "Begin at the beginning,...and go till you come to the end; then stop."
Happy organizing!
