Spring is a time to increase your energy levels and feel the vitality that life can bring. You may like to try these essential oils which are said to be energizing:
- Lemon essential oil – Diffuse it or dilute it to a maximum of 2% in any carrier oil (10 drops to a tablespoon) or use diluted in a bath.
- Lime essential oil – Diffuse it or dilute it to a maximum of 2% in any carrier oil (10 drops to a tablespoon) or dilute it and use in an aromatic bath.
- Peppermint essential oil – Diffuse it or dilute it to 3-5% in any carrier oil (15-25 drops to a tablespoon) and apply on the forehead for mental fatigue.
- Basil essential oil – Diffuse it or dilute it to 2% in any carrier oil (10 drops to a tablespoon) and apply on the forehead, heart and chest area to increase energy.
- Eucalyptus essential oil – Diffuse it or dilute it to 2% in in jojoba or hazelnut oil (10 drops to a tablespoon) and apply on the skin.
